Since 2015, filmmaker Tara Handa has been creating films and bringing ideas to life.

Akari (あかり), of Japanese origin, comes from the continuative form of the verb 明る (akaru) which means ‘light, to become bright/clear.’ Brightness and the sharing of inspiration holds integral value at Akari Studios.
